The City of Phoenix Public Works Department provides curbside bulk trash collection service five times a year. Mattresses and box springs are accepted as part of this service. There are no specific wrapping requirements for mattresses listed by the city. Bulk trash piles must be no larger than 20 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 6 feet high. Items must be placed at the curb, clear of sidewalks, street parking, and traffic. Residents should consult the City of Phoenix Public Works website for their scheduled collection week.
